How does Impact Financial Group actually work?

You talk to one licensed agent, that agent runs your health and financial picture past more than forty A-rated carriers instead of one, and you get the strongest two or three offers side by side in plain English. The carrier pays the agent, so the comparison costs you nothing either way.

Forty carriers. One conversation.

Your profile goes up against the underwriting rules of the entire shelf at the same time. Carriers that punish your health history fall away. Carriers that reward it rise to the top. You only ever see the finalists.

The carriers, by name

We name the carriers we work with most instead of hiding behind "top-rated partners". Every one is rated A- or better by AM Best, and you can look each rating up yourself.

The license, on the record

Insurance producers are public record. Our licensing page lists what we hold and where, so you can verify us through your own state department of insurance before you share a single detail.

The part after the sale

The questions everyone asks first

Do I have to take a medical exam?+

Often, no. Many carriers now approve up to $1M or more with no exam for healthy applicants, using electronic health records instead. Where an exam does apply, it is free, takes about 30 minutes and can happen at your home.

How fast can I get covered?+

Accelerated no-exam policies can be approved in as little as 24 to 72 hours. Fully underwritten policies with an exam typically take 3 to 6 weeks. Your agent will tell you which path fits your case before you apply.

Can my premium go up later?+

Not during your level term or on a whole life policy. The rate you lock at issue is contractually fixed for the term you choose. This is exactly why applying younger and healthier saves real money.

Is the coverage through my job enough?+

Usually not. Employer coverage is commonly capped at one or two times salary, and most families need closer to ten times income. It also usually ends when the job does. A personal policy stays with you.

What does your service cost me?+

Nothing. Like every licensed agent, we are paid a commission by the carrier you choose, and that commission is already built into the premium whether you use an agent or not. Your rate is the same either way, so you may as well have an advocate.

How much coverage do I actually need?+

A quick rule of thumb is 10 to 12 times your annual income, adjusted for debts, mortgage and future education costs. Our free needs calculator walks you through it in about two minutes, no contact info required.
